Cruising in a catamaran is nothing short of exciting. There is little drag from the hull so speeds are much faster than a conventional monohull. Catamarans are usually much wider which allows for a more stable ride and less heeling. The expanded beam often can pose a problem docking at standard marinas so check before you buy to determine what your local marina can accommodate.
